The Country/Capitals Database
This database access page allows you to type in a country name and look up its capital city the population, population density and and administrative area of the city.
The database file and path is scripts/pages/capital.js and the name of the variable that contains the database is capital. The population of each capital is stored as a simple unformatted integer and is formatted with standard comma notation as follows:
capital[gassclass][1].toString().replace(/\B(?=(\d{3})+(?!\d))/g, ",")
