CSS and javaScript generated video captions
This page uses a custom designed video player to demonstrate how overlayed captions can be added to a video. Captions can, of course, be embedded in a video during production but once you export the video you’re stuck with both content and timing.
In this case I’m using a series of paired javaScript if clauses to time to the sequence of captions. As an alternative you could use callbacks, see Video Callback Captions.
